Cruelty, Greed, jealousy, intentional dishonesty, selfishness, arrogance, backstabbing, rudeness, poor communication and sloppy drivers to name a few.

Intentional Dishonesty: Nobody speaks the gospel truth all the time. Unfortunately, we humans often times speak without either thinking first or not realizing that what we’ve said wasn’t the truth. The tongue is the source of all kinds of  foulness. Nevertheless, this is quite different than telling an intentional lie. However, all of us at one time or another have told this type of lie, myself included. In addition, I believe many people tell unintentional lies all the time. Many don’t even realize that what comes out of their mouths is not always the truth.

The Tongue: It’s odd that such a small part of the body can control such a large aspect of a person’s life. A bit controls a horse and a rudder controls a ship. These too are a small component in relationship to the overall mass of the parent object. Think about a small spark-which can set an enormous wildfire. Our tongue is indeed like a spark of fire, when not carefully extinguished right away, can ignite flames of despair.

Poor Communication: What do I mean? When I ask for feedback, I get disappointed when humans don’t take a little bit of their precious time to respond back. I give far more than I ever have received or probably will ever receive. I only wish more people who take just a little more of their time to respond back (every so often would make a big difference. This doesn’t mean to constantly respond back. For me, this is a natural act and it’s effortless to do. I won’t get into the psychological reasons for this type of reasoning, but I can assure you, that it’s the little things in life that can make a huge difference. Much of the problems in this world is due to poor communication. For the grammar induced judgemental person, this has everything to do with typos, grammar and proper email thread etiquette. From my perspective, this has nothing to do with that, but rather, one’s unwillingness to express themselves openly and as honest as possible. In order to achieve this, one must first shed their fear, insecuity and all jealousy. It’s all about having common courtesy and consideration for your fellow man. Come on folks, is it really that difficult?
